Position: Assistant Principal
Rashida Starr serves as the Assistant Principal of Oscar Adams Elementary School, bringing 23 years of dedicated experience in education to the school community. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education, as well as a Master of Arts and an Educational Specialist degree in Instructional Leadership.
Ms. Starr is deeply passionate about creating opportunities for all students to learn, thrive, and become well-rounded individuals. She believes that every child deserves a supportive environment that nurtures both their academic growth and personal character, empowering them to discover their unique strengths and succeed both inside and outside the classroom. Central to her philosophy is the belief that a strong, collaborative community forms the true foundation for student success.
When she isn’t supporting the school community, Ms. Starr enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, going on adventures with her beloved dog, Shuga, and hitting the open road on her motorcycle.
